Simulation framework

The simulation framework of the MuTe project is composed of several stages. First, we estimate the secondary particle flux on the observation place by using CORSIKA. Then we simulate the muon flux passing through the geological target. From this, we get the emerging muon flux, the approximated time for carrying out the muography, and the angular deviation by the multiple-scattering effect. Finally, we evaluate the detector response to the impinging particles by means of GEANT4.
