Abstract

Many solutions to the quantum measurement problema have been proposed, ranging from imagining an infinite number of parallel universes or actual trajectories to postulating changes in the Schrödinger equation leading to a spontaneous collapse of the wave function. Some of these proposals also provide a natural explanation for the Born rule. Nowhere is this problem more acute tan in cosmological settings as one can only observe one realisation of whatever the quantum state was. I will discuss how one could test such proposals using cosmological data.
